TOURNAMENT PROCEDURE

PRELIMINARY

The players selected based on the records of World Arena Season 28 and Season 29
will compete in the preliminaries according to each region.

WORLD ARENA
  • americas cup europe cup

    AMERICAS & EUROPE

    16 players will play against each other under double elimination for three days.
    8 players that win two times each day will advance to the regional cup.

  • asia cup

    ASIA-PACIFIC

    Asia-Pacific Preliminary consists of 4 groups according to the region of residence.
    8 players of each group will play against each other under double elimination for two days
    and 2 players of each region, a total of 8 players, will advance to the regional cup.

REGIONAL CUP

8 players who advanced to each regional cup will play against each other
in the regional cup under single elimination.

  • EUROPE CUP IN BERLIN
  • AMERICAS CUP IN LAS VEGAS
  • ASIA-PACIFIC CUP IN HO CHI MINH CITY

  • CHINA QUALIFICATION MATCH

    The winner and runner-up of the China Qualification Match
    win a ticket to the World Finals.

  • OPEN QUALIFIER - JAPAN

    Players from the World Finals host country
    have an opportunity to participate in a separate Open Qualifier
    before the preliminaries are held in that region.

    The winner of the Open Qualifier wins a ticket to the World Finals.

WORLD FINALS

3 players from each Regional Cup, 2 players from the China Qualification Match,
and 1 player from the Open Qualifier - Japan,
12 players in total, will advance to the World Finals.

SWC2024 Regional Cups and World Finals will be held offline.
Please refer to the tournament notice for more details.

** 12 world finalists will receive prize money and in-game rewards.
SWC2024 World Champion will receive the new SWC2024 trophy and a medal,
and 2nd and 3rd place (tied) will receive a medal.

** Players that won 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place in Regional Cups will receive prize money and a medal.
