TOURNAMENT PROCEDURE

PRELIMINARY

The players selected based on the records of World Arena Season 24 and Season 25
will compete in the preliminaries according to each region.

WORLD ARENA

    AMERICAS & EUROPE

    16 players will play against each other under the Double Elimination Method for three days.
    Eight players that win two times in each day will advance to the regional cup.

  • asia cup

    ASIA-PACIFIC

    Asia-Pacific Preliminary consists of 4 groups according to the region of residence.
    Eight players of each group will play against each other under the Double Elimination Method for two days and two players of each region, a total of 8 players, will advance to the regional cup.

REGIONAL CUP

Eight players who advanced to each regional cup will play against each other in the regional cup under the Single Elimination Tournament Method.

  • ASIA-PACIFIC CUP IN TAIPEI

  • CHINA QUALIFICATION MATCH

    The winner of the China Qualification Match wins a ticket to the World Finals.

  • OPEN QUALIFIER - THAILAND

    Players from Thailand, the venue of the World Finals,
    have an opportunity to participate in a separate Open Qualifier before the preliminaries are held in that region.

    The winner of the Open Qualifier wins a ticket to the World Finals.

WORLD FINALS

2 players from each Regional Cup, 1 player from the China Qualification Match, and 1 player from the Open Qualifier - Thailand, 8 players in total, will advance to the World Finals.

SWC2023 Regional Cups and World Finals will be held offline.
